Especially lately when it seems like my flowers have been poisoned and bug infested. I it a great reminder to tend to what is growing and pull the weeds from time to time!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7964365067756242351.post-82114651747380869112017-01-22T20:14:12.450-05:002017-01-22T20:14:12.450-05:00A beautiful messageA beautiful messageCarol @Comfort Spring Stationhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18308702098757071897noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7964365067756242351.post-13209082912104368252017-01-22T19:57:17.699-05:002017-01-22T19:57:17.699-05:00Isn't that amazing, Sharon, when we hear messa...Isn't that amazing, Sharon, when we hear messages from multiple places? And this was one of those times. I receive a meditation each morning, and on Saturday morning, the meditation was about not acting on negativity but prayerfully allowing negative thoughts to be replaced by not only by positive thinking but also by compassion. And then I read your blog post which carried that same message even further. Instead of just focusing on my thoughts, whether negative or positive, after reading your post I am reminded to pay attention also to that which is in my clay pot--to what I am actually portraying to others. The clay pot image is one I will remember and call upon. Thank you, Debbie, for a very meaningful post.Sharonnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7964365067756242351.post-55555899314904098562017-01-21T08:44:15.418-05:002017-01-21T08:44:15.418-05:00I like the analogy with the pot and various "...I like the analogy with the pot and various "flower" choices. God gives us choices as to the messages we are sending in our everyday lives. It helped me today to picture my life as an unadorned clay pot and I want it to overflow with God's message and not my own faulty ones. I want to be the pot with beautiful flowers that points others to the Lord.Karenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09388129297972632441noreply@blogger.com
