Blue Top Styled 3 Ways

A Little Bit of Fashion This and That

Hello friends! As promised, here's a little bit of fashion for you! The blue top I'm wearing was a surprise clearance rack find several months ago that has become one of my favorite tops. Don't you just love it when those moments happen?! I'm styling it for you three different ways to give you an idea of how different shades of blue can work together as well as how tops can create totally different looks when they are tucked or untucked. As always I hope that my style posts give you some ideas for shopping your own closets and creating your own style.

In this first look, I'm wearing my light blue top tucked into my tiered blue jean skirt. I like the material's texture and the peasant look of the blue top with the jean skirt.

Here is the top untucked with the jeans skirt. Sorry this pic is so blurry but you get the gist of the look. I don't like this look as much as the tucked look. What do you think?

And here's a very casual look with jeans. This is how I style this top the most; with slacks or jeans. This top can be dressed up or down and is so very comfortable and multi-seasonal which I love. I am a huge fan of blue and love mixing and matching shades of blue together. How about you? Now go check out your closet for tops, skirts and jeans/pants that are interchangeable and go well together. Have fun with your own styling and be sure to leave a comment! I love hearing from you!

Until Next Time,
Debbie

Beachy Theme On The Foyer Table

 Creating A Summer Vignette

Hi friends!  I'm back from my travels and ready to embrace all things summer.  So, I thought I would start by creating an easy beach theme vignette on the foyer table.

I think beach themes are easy to do and can be as simple or as fancy as you want. The foyer table is a pretty small space so I went with some Dollar Store items I picked up a few weeks ago plus the lighthouses and wooden starfish sign that I already owned. If you have followed me for any time at all then you know that I like to make use of what I already own when I create vignettes. I must say that Dollar Tree came through this year with some good beach type items. The sand dollars, anchor, white glass starfish and starfish towel all came from there. It was just up to me to do the arranging! And, since I have a beach theme in our guest bath, I can use these items in there when I decide to change the foyer table again.

I hope that each of you is enjoying a good week. Join me next week on Tuesday for a fashion post. Take good care until then. And, as always, I would love for you to leave a comment!

Until Next Time,
Debbie
