Congratulations Debbie, and I'm so glad I found your blog years ago! I have enjoyed your fun, down-to-earth style and approach! Here's to another five and beyond! Doc Martin...just finished rewatching (I know, not a word!) the entire series to this point and anxiously awaiting the new installment (which they say will be the final year??? :-( ). I bought all the DVDs and never tire of them! It was fun learning new things about you. I'm going to go make some chocolate chip cookies for the weekend. Thank you for mentioning that!!

Congratulations on five years of blogging and on THIS blog post! What a great way to celebrate five years. There are many things I learned about you from your fives lists (I am reminded that I love lists!), but nothing surprised me more than learning you are a Trekkie AND a Star Wars fan! Not only would I have never suspected that, but I’ve never heard you mention it! I guess it just never came up. Based upon your post today, I’m going to suggest that our SOS group has a 5 things night. Do you mind?

I’m so proud and happy for you taking this leap of joy in blogging and sticking through the good and challenging times for five years. I look forward to many more years of Debbie insights and enlightenment

Love you, Laura

CONGRATULATIONS!
Star Trek and Star Wars are my favorites too. I really like Sound of Music and I have seen the other two movies and liked them.
The Bible, yes! I have read Christy and it is a very good book.
Of books: Lillian Jackson Braun is a big favorite of mine and I really like many of the other authors in your list.
I think it is amazing that you pierced yours and you Mom's ears.
My husband used to make me laugh and I REALLY miss him and his corny jokes. Whose Line Is It Anyway was a favorite of his and mine.
I watched As Time Goes By on PBS and we watched Midsomer Murders on NetFlix. It was a fun show. We would make dinner and sit down on the couch to eat and watch. I watched most of Doc Martin on HULU. I still watch, now and then, Midsomer Murders on Pluto.
And Cambria, CA is a lovely place. My husband and I had driven through it several times over the years.

WOW - congratulations on 5 years. You've been a busy beaver for sure.

I see you like some of the same British TV shows that I do. LOVE Midsomer Murders - there's just not enough of them.

Grace & Peace,Iris
